Sarah Cashdollar is a doctoral student at the University of Chicago in the Department of Comparative Human Development and a fellow in the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) pre-doctoral interdisciplinary training program. At UChicago Consortium, Sarah works on a mixed methods project examining school- and district-level factors that influence implementation of the Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. She is also interested in student-teacher interactions that lead to disciplinary outcomes and in racial and socioeconomic discipline disparities. She received her AB from Dartmouth College in 2013 and worked as a fourth-grade teacher in Dallas Independent School District before moving to Chicago.
